Free Kids Oral Health Resources
To address the growing issue of tooth decay among young children in the UK—where one in four 5-year-olds have visible decay and dental problems are the leading cause of hospital admissions for 5–9-year-olds—Aquafresh created the Shine Bright Club.
This free education programme supports children aged 0–8 in building lifelong oral hygiene habits. Through fun, curriculum-aligned resources, Shine Bright helps children learn:
- Why oral health is essential for a happy, healthy life.
- How to brush their teeth properly.
- Which foods and drinks protect teeth and support overall health.
- The importance of regular dental check-ups.
The resources are designed for use in schools and nurseries across the UK and Ireland, and are linked to English, Art & Design, and PSHE curricula. Educators can use the teacher guides and materials in the classroom and share them with parents to reinforce learning at home.
Aquafresh Shine Bright Club empowers children and families with the knowledge and tools they need to take ownership of their dental hygiene—making brushing fun, engaging, and part of everyday life.
